Gujarat State Conference organised by Sahakar Bharati was a complete success with 3200 participants coming from over 600 Co-Operative Societies. All districts of Gujarat were represented at the Conference. The success of the Conference can solely be attributed to the untiring efforts and detailed planning of Shri Kantibhai Patel.
At the above Conference,I announced the launch by Sahakar Bharati of International Year of Co-Operatives 2012, in India in the august presence of Hon Shri Nitinbhai Patel, Minister for Urban Devp and Water Resources, Govt. of Gujarat and Shri Sudarshan Sen, Regional Director, RBI and a galaxy of Co-Operative leaders from Gujarat.
I have spoken to Shri Kantibhai Patel, President, Sahakar Bharati, Gujarat State and requested him to mail me and yourself, the photographs and newsreports about the above Conference so that the launch could be posted on the Facebook, Intl Conference site, etc.
